Description
Sophora is a genus of about 45 species of shrubs and tree growing up to 20-25 m. Single, compound, 15-25 cm long leaves contain 7-17 pieces of green, elliptical, colorful leaflets. Gray bark grooves deeply by age. 1-1.5 cm long pink-white or yellow-white flowers are in panicles. They can also be planted as avenue trees or along the roads. They can not resist to cold climates. They grow well under sun or in partial shade.
