Description
Bauhinia is a flowering plant and may grow till 10 m. depending on climatic conditions, it may formed as tree, bush or climbing forms. The flowers similar to orchids and flowering continues from November till end of the March. It can grow easily in Eagen and Mediterranean parts of Turkey. They likes acidic soil, water and full sun, sensitive to winter colds. No need too much prunning, if needed a light prunning can be made when flowering start. Propagation of Bauhinia species is from seeds and cuttings
