Description
Osmanthus is a genus of about 30 species of shrubs and trees growing up to 10 m. The leaves are large, hard, glossy, dark green, 5-6 cm long with serrated or coarsely toothed margin. The white cream flowers blooming in panicles are 5 mm long, and emit jasmine fragrance. They are popular in mild region strips in the parks and gardens, and can be grown solitary or as groups.
