Description
It is native to Europe and may grow up to 3 m. Dark creamy-green leaves are typically 1.5–5 cm long. The buds are four-sided. It tolerates extreme urban and industrial pollution. It can be planted solitary in the parks and gardens besides planting as bundle or fence element. It likes temperate climate; however can also be cultivated in cold regions. It is well-adapted to half-shadow. It is propagated by cuttings.
