Description
Ligustrum is an evergreen shrub or small tree, native to Europe, North Africa, Asia, Australia, Chinaand Japan. The leaves are opposite, simple with short petiole, and margins are entire. The flowers are white, and from August to September. The fruits are grape-like, and may be purplish-black, greenish or white. They like temperate climates and sunny or light shaded areas. They are used as hedge plant and shaped with shrub clipper.
