Description
Casuarina is an evergreen and fast growing tree, native in Australia. May grow until 40 m height.Flowering starts before the emerging leaves in April. Branches looks like pine needles. Small flowers blooms on branches where leaves open point. By time this flowers becomes a succulent fruit. Likes hot temperatures and well drained moist soil. Resist to frost until -7oC temperature. Casuarina trees can be used in sea coasts in aim of reclamation and afforestation.
