Description
It is native of Japan and East Asia. Aucuba is derived from Japanese word “Aokiba”. It may reach up to 1-3 m height and likes temperate climates. The leaves are with serrated margins. It is glossy with its yellowish spots on green wide leaves and red berries. It tolerates polluted air, and does not require care so much. It likes shady or partial shade areas. Propagation is by cuttings
