Description
Euonymus comprises of about 180 species of deciduous and evergreen shrubs and small trees. The leaves may be green, yellow, variegated, golden or silvery and are simple ovoid, typically 2–15 cm long and usually with a finely serrated margin. In some species, the leaves change their colors in fall. Blooming starts in May-June. The flowers occur in small groups, inconspicuous and of yellow shades. They grow well in sunny locations. They are suitable for using as hedge plants or in bundles.
