Description
There are some native species growing in Europe, Caucasia and Turkey. They are 80 cm long, creeping and perennial herbaceous plants with thin roots. It is evergreen and the leaves are alternately arranged. Flowering period is between March and June. The flowers may be purple, lilac or white. The flower leaves have five-lobed. They grow in temperate climates, and perform best in humid and bright areas. Soil should be rich in terms of nutrients.
