Description
Cotoneaster, having about 300 species, is native to Asia, Europe and Africa. The length of its leaves varies from 2.5 to 3 cm. There are red fruits of Cotoneaster. White or pink flowers appear in May and June, single or in panicles. It is cold hardy and tolerates cold very well. Especially with its small fruits staying on throughout the winter, they are widely planted in rock gardens and for landscaping, hedge, barrier or ground covering purposes.
